Bookmaker GG.Bet together with the Ukrainian Professional Esports Association have developed Fairplay Guides – recommendations for fair play for players and teams.

Esports connects billions of people around the world: athletes, coaches and spectators can meet and cheer in online tournaments without restrictions on geography, age and gender, origin or social status, esports also allows athletes of any level to achieve results.

In order to implement the policy of equality and the principles of fair and transparent play, as well as to maintain fair competition, the Ukrainian Professional Esports Association together with its partner GG.Bet has developed a collection of ethical rules for players and teams. The purpose of the document is to unite participants around fair esports competitions.

We were pleased to support the initiative of the Ukrainian Professional Esports Association to create ethical rules for players and teams. After all, fair play of professional esportsmen is a guarantee of fair competitions and their transparent results. We fully support this initiative and hope that the rules developed by us and UPEA will be supported by all participants in esports competitions.

Chairman of the Board of UPEA Alexander Kokhanovsky:

We at the Association want to promote esports as the most multifunctional sport for both players and spectators. Creating an honest and safe esports movement is a common cause of each of its participants. Therefore, we are glad that together with our partner GG.Bet we have the opportunity to implement such a right initiative. And we hope that thanks to these guides we will be able to create all the necessary conditions for a fair and transparent game.

The recommendations were created within the framework of the partnership between GG.Bet and UPEA, which began in February this year. By the end of the year, together with the bookmaker, the Association will also develop guides for tournament operators, as well as special educational materials on responsible betting. These documents will be part of the Global Code of Conduct for the eSports industry.
